Post-Turkey Parents' Day Out, Kids' Fieldhouse Fun Day!

Mom and Dad want to hit the big sales the day after Thanksgiving, and the kids think that's a lousy way to spend their free day off of school.
We have the solution! On Friday, Nov. 28, led by our trained and talented Recreation Staff, the Post-Turkey Parents' Day Out program will keep kids active and supervised while Mom and Dad shop. Youth ages five to 12 years old can play all day at the Parker Fieldhouse, 18700 E. Plaza Dr.
Bring a sack lunch, drink and snack. Wear tennis shoes and bring skates if you have them. Activities include but are not limited to sports, games, crafts, skating, climbing wall, and a short Holiday movie.
There will be two sessions offered, five hours each. Kids can play for one session or both. Registration is open online at www.ParkerRec.com. For more information, call 303.805.6300.

Town Council Election Results 2008

The Town of Parker election for Town Council are in.  Incumbent Gary Lassiter returns for another 4 years and newly elected to town council are Mike Waid and Lisa Coe, beating out incumbents Trace Kaker and Debbie Lewis.  We wish them all the best!

The Fine Arts Department of the Parker United Methodist Church invite all community members to come and join the choir and orchestra in the annual

Or just come and enjoy the beautiful sounds of the celebration of our Lord.

If you would like to join in and sing with us please come to the community rehearsals on Wednesday  and Saturday the week before

Movie and a Martini @ The Wildlife Pavilion

The Wildlife Experience just announced their 2009 lineup of Movie and a Martini events!

This popular film series begins with a delicious cocktail hour featuring martinis, cheese platters and desserts. Following cocktail hour, guests then grab popcorn and take their seats for a special presentation of a timeless film chosen by Movie and a Martini enthusiasts.

Cocktail hour begins at 6:30 p.m., Movie begins at 7:30 p.m. The galleries and exhibits in the museum are open for guests to enjoy during cocktail hour..
