After a long winter, warmer weather is finally here! As temperatures rise, out come shorts, short-sleeved shirts and before too long, swimsuits! Will your body be in peak shape by summer?
Parker Recreation challenges you to take the 30/30 challenge in April to put you on the right track to getting into better shape for spring and summer! From April 1 to April 30, perform 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise every day. Run, bike or swim; even a brisk walk qualifies. A board will be posted in the weight room at the Recreation Center to chart your progress.
The challenge is based on the honor system and there is no charge to participate. Prizes will be awarded to those that finish the challenge, including a grand prize raffle.
