PONDEROSA HIGHSCHOOL QUARTERBACK CLUB STAMPEDE TO AUCTION 1966 MUSTANG
Saturday, August 18th beginning at 5:30pm. Join us for an evening out at the Black Bear Golf Club (11400 Canterberry Parkway) with local favorite, The Shiloh River Band. Hot hors d’œuvres will be provided with a cash bar available. This is our biggest fundraising event of the year and includes both Live and Silent Auctions. The Live auction features a 1966 Mustang, a condo for a week in Kona, Hawaii, and a 150cc dirt bike. Hosted by the Ponderosa High School Quarterback Club, boosters for PHS Football. The cost is $75.00 per person, adults only please. This event and auction may be tax deductible, please consult your personal tax advisor.
The 1966 Mustang coup with GT trim was restored about 6 years ago. It has a 289 with a 4 speed top loader transmission. The color is factory raven black with factory honey comb wheels. The car was brought back to factory specs, there is no rust on the car and it is in great shape.
The Silent Auction will include a variety of certificates, gift packages and merchandise from local businesses, and beyond. We estimate the values at $25.00 and up. The items will be available at the Stampede for closer inspection and bidding. Come and see what Parker and the greater Denver area have to offer while helping the young athletes in your community.
The PHS Quarterback Club is a not for profit organization with the purpose of supporting the Ponderosa Football team and coaching staff. Our objectives for 2007 are to: raise $100,000 to support the football program; Encourage all family members and the entire community to get involved in the quarterback club; Provide each student athlete with the support and equipment necessary for a safe, fun , successful football season at Ponderosa. Booster contributions to our student athletes include: Fees for team camps, Football scholarships, Fees for 7 on 7 tournaments, Game jerseys, Game side-line parkas, Practice jerseys and pants, Helmet reconditioning, Replacement pads, Video and Cameras, Footballs, Kicking gear, Awards, and more.
The Shiloh River Band from Sedalia, CO, brings an original style of toe-tappin’ country rock’n’roll music to be enjoyed by people of all ages. ( www.shilohriverband.com )
