British Invasion set for Aug. 19 when The Fables come to the Park

British Invasion set for Aug. 19 when The Fables come to the Park

When The Beatles made their first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show in February of 1964, it may have been what is considered the most important event in the history of rock music. Nothing has surpassed it in over 40 years.

Enjoy an afternoon with Colorado's own, The Fables and have some fun playing Beatles Trivia and learning a little about the songs that made them famous. The band features Joe Totondo, Pat Casey, Greg Engel, Bob Cannistraro and Rodney Osburn.

The Fables will be appearing at a free show on Sunday, Aug. 19 as part of the Parker Cultural Commission's Concerts in the Park series held at the O'Brien Park Gazebo from 1-3 p.m. Once again, free ice cream will be provided by the Parker Sanitation and Water District.

Concerts in the Park are brought to you by the Parker Cultural Commission and the SCFD. For more information visit www.parkerpresents.org or contact Kelly Kuper at 303.805.3263.
