Join us for the Parker Christmas Carriage Parade on Dec. 8!

The Town of Parker and the Colorado Driving Society will kick off the holidays in Parker with the long-awaited Christmas Carriage Parade on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. The Christmas Carriage Parade is a Parker
tradition that has evolved into a Town staple. The day begins at 10 a.m. at the Winter Market and Craft Fair located at the Mainstreet Center, 19650 E. Mainstreet. Santa will arrive at noon and will be available for pictures in Ruth's Chapel located next to the Mainstreet Center. Many thanks to Parker Water and Sanitation for helping Santa find his way to Parker for the Parade. Be sure to take your family back to the Mainstreet Center Parking lot for Pony Rides and the Petting Zoo, brought to you by Comcast.

The "Country Christmas" themed parade will commence at 2 p.m. heading west on Mainstreet, up Victorian, onto the O'Brien North property, back down Longs Way and will return down Victorian back to Mainstreet, heading east. Road closures include E. Mainstreet, Pine Drive, Victorian Circle and Longs Way, south of the Senior Center. Please visit www.parkeronline.org for a route map and for more information.

Come and enjoy dozens of horse-drawn carriages, wagons and stagecoaches from across Colorado all dressed up for the occasion! An exciting parade narration with the help of Channel 9's Cheryl Preheim is sure to make an enjoyable parade experience for all. Those who miss getting their picture with Santa before the parade will be pleased to know that Santa plans to stay for a while before heading home to Mrs. Claus.

The Town looks forward to celebrating these honored traditions with you and your family.
