Parker is seeking volunteers to help create a Sister City Program

Responding to citizens' desires to learn more about the people of other communities, the Town Council recently adopted a resolution establishing a Sister City Affiliation Policy. Through this policy, the Town will assist the Parker community in building citizen relationships with foreign municipalities that are beneficial to the people of Parker.

Similar to a scaled up version of pen pals, towns in distinct geographic areas pair with each other to foster human contact and cultural links between their residents. This serves to enrich the resources of each town through the planning and implementation of programs that foster understanding, respect and goodwill.

Whether your interests lie in business, government, international relations, cultural programs or ethnic heritage, you can learn more about this exciting program at an informational meeting at the Parker Town Hall, 20120 E. Mainstreet,
