Douglas County Cultural Council Meeting October 10

The Douglas County Cultural Council has decided to move the location of its monthly meetings into various communities around the County. The goal is to gather representatives of the local arts, cultural, history and science organizations, policy makers and interested citizens to share information regarding cultural community vision. The first meeting will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 10 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Parker Town Hall, located at 20120 E. Mainstreet in Parker.The agenda includes discussion of the cultural vision of the community, presentation and discussions of SCFD funding and Douglas County Cultural Plan revisions, including a public art addition.The public is encouraged to attend and provide feedback.
