Parker Artist Guild 5th Annual Spring Art Show Admission is Free Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. both days Parker Mainstreet Center 19650 E Mainstreet, Parker Two blocks east of Parker Road on Mainstreet in downtown Parker
The Spring Art Show is one of two major art events held in Parker that are sponsored by the Parker Artists Guild. This is the 5th year for the Spring Art Show. The show is held at the Mainstreet Center in Parker on the last weekend in March. The event has strong support from the Town of Parker and local businesses such as Parker Station and Choice Bank both located in Parker. More than 40 artisans will be exhibiting their original work for sale. Media represented includes painting in a wide variety of media, photography, drawing, pastels, pottery, jewelry, wood working, glass, sculpture and more.
In addition to the visual arts, the Parker Arts Council will provide musical entertainment Saturday (3/29) afternoon. Refreshments and soft drinks will also be sold both days and there will be door prizes. In addition the Parker Historical Society will have the turn of the century school room open. Part of the Mainstreet Center contains the original Parker High School building. Parker Artists Guild is made up of artists primarily from Parker and the Douglas County area.
